open access
Open Access is a conceptual framework for accessibility developed by Carmen Papalia in response to institutional failure that he experienced as a recipient of disability support services. Rather than providing a “policy”, Open Access offers guidelines for person-to-person agreements for mutual care.

TRAININGS for The Not-Yet:
open access panel
In the spirit of Open Access, the public is invited into a collectively envisioned space emerging from the principles of trust and mutual care.
This public program consisted of an inclusive, performative presentation moderated by Papalia himself.
The performance offers an alternative perspective on, and practice of, accessibility and public engagement of cultural institutions.
